Carla Squatrito, our founder, president, and driving force, came to America from Torino, Italy in 1968. With her, she brought a culinary tradition started long ago in her family's restaurant, Gallo Ruspante, located in Cossombrato, Asti.
When she got to America and was unable to find the true high quality pasta she was used to making back home, she opened Pasta Italiana, an 1800sq. ft. pasta shop in Manchester, CT.
Local chefs quickly recognized the fine quality of Carla's pastas and sauces and were eager to offer them on their menus. As the company grew, Carla's Pasta, Inc. was born and was soon providing pastas and recipes to 20,000 restaurants in New England.
Now, more than 30 years later, Carla has decided to share a limited selection of her favorite recipes directly with you. Conveniently packaged in a patented microwavable bag, you can "fresh steam" each dish in your microwave in just a few minutes. Welcome to Cucina di Carla, where easy never tasted so good!
