BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard Certification is approved by the world's leading food safety, quality and legality experts, and is a part of the GSI (Global Food Safety Initiatives). The GSI's goal is to consolidate and standardize the world's food safety to a new higher standard and uniform benchmark. This standard encompasses: Quality Systems, Manufacturing Practices, Storage and Distribution Scheme.

Carla Squatrito, our President, founder, and driving force, came to this country in 1968.

 

In 1978 she started what today is known as Carla's Pasta Inc., as a 1,800 square foot retail shop.

 

Today, Carla's is a Woman owned, family run, entrepreneurially driven, single focus, thirty five year old nationally distributed company. All we make are pasta and pestos.
